C OUR FUTURE’ EGG DONATION ACTIVITY AT LOW INCOME TRIBAL SCHOOL

Daily egg distribution to children at a low-income Tribal School by Ceva India in collaboration with India’s largest broiler integrator.

In continuation with the daily egg distribution activity held on 10.10.2022 for low-income tribal school, Ceva India added one more school to the list. Ceva India expanded the C Our Future program to the 3rd School. The program now covers ~500 students who get eggs every day they are in the school.

Madhyamik Ashram School is located in tribal area of Nashik district Maharashtra state. This is a residential school for about 230 students. among these 230 students 150 students are studying in 1st to 5th standard. To fulfill protein requirement in their daily diet Ceva India providing 750 eggs per week for one year for students upto 5th standard.

Considering 4.7 million tribal children suffering from chronic nutrition deprivation in India, this activity definitely plays a vital role in reducing child stunting ratio and boost the awareness in students, teachers and parents at tribal area.

This activity carried out in collaboration with Ceva India and Godrej Tyson. With this collaboration now Ceva India has collaborated with Suguna, Godrej and Yojana Poultry. In coming days two more collaborations are planned with largest broiler integrators viz Premium & Japfa.

In egg donation activity Dr. Prashant Pawar from Godrej briefed about the collaboration and importance of egg in the diet. Mr. Kiran Chavan and Dr. Tushar Ethape spoke about the C Our Future campaign in Asia and its goal.

School headmaster and village Sarpanch have delivered vote of thanks to the Ceva & Godrej team for arranging eggs for the students.
