After Covid-19 pandemic subsided, the state education department in Maharashtra has issued a directive asking schools and colleges to completely switch over to in-person education.

Note-books and stationary material like pen, pencil, eraser and sharpener are important for offline education. Many of the parents from poor families unable to provide this material to their children, due to the economic impact on their livelihood and earnings. As a result of this, such children are at risk of remaining uneducated or undereducated. Many children from underprivileged areas don’t have the opportunity to go to school for the simple reason that they don’t have sufficient supply of notebooks.

Looking at this situation of educational material for such children, Ceva India decided to provide notebooks and stationary material to some students in an underprivileged area.

In collaboration with Saksham Foundation, notebook and stationary material were distributed on 17.04.22 at Bhayandar (W) chawl, Dist. Thane in presence of Ceva representative Mr. Pawan Gupta and Saksham team. In this activity 150 dozen notebooks have been distributed along with stationary material. Saksham foundation has issued appreciation certificate to Ceva India for this novel support to the children.

The parents have also extended their gratitude for supporting their childrens’ education.
