Ceva India team held “Cevac IBird Launch Program” on 5th & 6th May 2022 at Anand & Mahuva in Gujarat state. At Anand, 20 Veterinarians & 35 farmers representing the layer market attended the launch meeting. Whereas in Mahuva around 50 layer farmers attended this meeting.

These meetings constituted of two parts: technical session on Infectious Bronchitis and Cevac IBird launch meeting.

Dr. K.S. Prajapati, a well-known Poultry Pathologist in India, discussed the current IB disease situation in Layers. He emphasized that IB variant is key concern for poultry production and current standard vaccination program is not sufficient to control the problem, so combination of standard vaccination of Mass strain along with IB variant strain must be practised to resolve the issue. This combination offers early, broad and long-lasting protection against the IB strains observed in India.

This session was followed by Dr. Lalit Chaudhari, Marketing Manager, Ceva India presenting the new approach to “Control IB Disease” and highlighted the features, advantages, and benefits of Cevac IBird when combined with Cevac Vitabron L in commercial layers. The presentations induced high interest among the participants followed by many practical questions and fruitful discussion.

The overall objectives of this meeting were to showcase the Ceva innovative offerings, to secure and achieve additional business by introducing Cevac IBird – the first IB variant vaccine in India and to develop relationships with customers who have decision making or influencing power within their respective businesses. Mr. Dhananjay Mishra, Sales Manager Gurajat & MP region & Mr. Rizavan Kapasi, Territory Manager are following up with the customers to achieve successful sales of the complete Infectious Bronchitis vaccine range.
